Spring has almost sprung here at West Beach Parks. It’s a beautiful time of year to be beside the sea as the sun starts to shine and we dare to dream of summer.

Holidays are looking a little different for us all these days. If you’ve visited us this year, you may have noticed we’ve added to and improved our accommodation. If you’ve not yet had the chance, we recommend you get here soon!

We may be biased but we are more than a little excited about it all. We have always loved our accommodation, but we think we may have well and truly nailed it now with our recent additions.

The Resort is now The Retreat. A holiday haven for anyone looking for a blissful beachside break, The Retreat boasts lush-landscaped gardens, collection of stunning shacks, safari tents and an unbelievable pool complex complete with slides and water-side cabanas with a Mediterranean feel.

Always looking for something a little different or special to offer our guests, we recently installed three safari tents.

Glam and gorgeous, the tents are a rustic, relaxing space for those looking for a camping adventure but with the mod-cons found in a cabin. With a cosy kitchenette, shared space and comfy beds, the tents also include an outdoor bath for those who fancy a soak on the deck at sunset.

A short walk from the pool is our village of Sand Dune Shacks. Overlooking a new nature playgroup, the modern and sophisticated Shacks are new addition to The Retreat. They sleep four and include a deck with BBQ and well-equipped kitchen.

Along with new accommodation and a reception refresh, we have also installed a gym and a games room, and you’ll find jumping pillows and tennis courts.

Over at our BIG4 West Beach Parks property, it’s adrenalin all the way with family fun the focus!

Jumping pillows, a heated lagoon pool, zero depth splash zone, playground and go carts offer all the fun of a Holiday Park.

While we regularly refurb, replace, and refresh our cabins, we are always looking at how we can enhance our accommodation experience.

At the BIG4 Holiday Park we have accommodation of all shapes, sizes, and budgets. From our premium Beach Houses to our budget-friendly Tourist Cabins and everything in between, we’re confident we can accommodate every requirement. We’ve also got eco-tents for the campers who need a tiny bit more under the canvas as well as plenty of spacious camp sites and caravan spots with and without en-suites.

From September, we’ll offer an accommodation experience like no other in a holiday park…our exclusive Scott Salisbury cabin, Water’s Edge. This sumptuous architecturally designed masterpiece has three bedrooms, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, and a laundry. Nestled on the north-eastern hill of the BIG4 Holiday Park, Water’s Edge will overlook West Beach and Glenelg.

So…there you have it. A long list of reasons why a stay at West Beach Parks would be well worth it.
