Winter 2024 - Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions 

Promoter
The Promoter of this competition is West Beach Trust, located at Military Road West Beach, South Australia.

Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of South Australia aged 18 years and over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
To enter, participants must tag at least two friends’ accounts in the comments on one of the allocated competition posts.
Participants can enter as many times as they like and can enter on either Facebook or Instagram.

Entry Period
The competition commences at 6pm (ACST) Sunday 16th June 2024 and closes at 11:59pm (ACST) Sunday 23rd June 2024 (the "Entry Period").

Prizes
The prize includes:
-2 nights’ accommodation in a Saltwater Shack at The Retreat at West Beach Parks (for up to 5 guests)
-100 balls and TrackMan access at the West beach Parks Golf driving range
-Go-kart hire for all guests (for up to five guests)
-A welcome basket on arrival
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other items.

Prize must be used by Saturday November 30th 2024 and is not valid during school holidays or long weekends. 

Selection of Winner
The Winner will be selected by 5pm (ACDT) Friday 28th June 2024.
The Winner will be chosen based on a random draw.
The chosen Winner and the tagged accounts in their comment must be following either West Beach Parks on Facebook or @westbeachparks on Instagram.
The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Notification of Winner
Winner will be notified via message on the associated platform on the day of the selection and will have one week to reply to claim their prize. If the prize is unclaimed by this time, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a new winner.

Publicity
By entering this competition, participants agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material.

Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
The Promoter will not disclose any personal information to third parties without the entrant’s consent.

General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if necessary.
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues that may cause the competition to be disrupted or entries to be lost.
By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

Liability
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.

Beach Club Discount

The Beach Club 10% discount code is an online discount only discount and is only valid for bookings made via www.westbeachparks.com.au.

It also has the following Terms & Conditions:
— This offer is for 10% off the standard rate of cabins and sites. The offer is not valid with any other offer, including BIG4 discount.
— The Beach Club discount code is for new bookings only and cannot be apply to existing bookings.

Cancellations

All cancellations will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. The deposit will be refunded (less a $30 administration fee) if notified at least 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.

If notified less than 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will only be refunded (less a $30 administration fee) if/when the accommodation is re-booked. Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit.

Reservations cancelled, or altered at the commencement of or during occupation do not qualify for any refund and the monies paid will be forfeited by the guest.

Non-arrivals or guests who fail to notify of cancellations will forfeit the monies paid.

Children

Infants under 2 years of age are free of charge, however there may be a charge for the use of a cot if required. Child rates apply to ages 2-17 years on sites. West Beach Parks reserves the right to request proof of age.

Deposits

A deposit of the first night’s tariff is required to secure the reservation.

Final Payment

Balance of monies is due and payable on arrival, including full payment for any additional persons or nights.

Forms of Payment

Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard or Direct Debit. BSB 065 108 Account 10214211.

Please use your reservation number as reference when paying by direct debit.

Group Bookings / Special Offers

Additional terms and conditions may apply to group bookings or bookings made under a special offer.

Maximum Numbers per Unit

The number of people accommodated in each cabin must not exceed the number of beds available.

Pet Policy

No pets are allowed. Medically required guide dogs are permitted.

Damages/losses

All registered guests will be liable for any loss or damage to the appliances, furniture, keys/passes, fixtures and all fittings in the accommodation and also includes excessive cleaning charges that may apply. Fair wear and tear excluded.

Prices

All prices quoted are in Australian dollars, are inclusive of GST and subject to change without notice due to seasonal and other variations.

Prices are based on two persons occupying sites; extra person rates apply for each additional person.

Cabin prices are based on maximum occupancy for the cabin type, no extra person charges apply.

Servicing

Accommodation is serviced weekly, commencing on the 7th day after arrival.

Smoking

All buildings at West Beach Parks are non-smoking. By law, it is prohibited to smoke inside or within 5 metres of any public building. Smoking inside your accommodation will incur a minimum fee of $100.

Other

Please Note: At West Beach Parks guests are prohibited from using any accommodation within the Holiday Park/The Retreat as their principal place of residence. All accommodation on offer is only to be used for genuine short term stays (typically holidays and business travel).

By accepting a booking, guests confirm that they do not and will not (subject to a written agreement to the contrary), use the property as their principal place of residence.

At West Beach Parks we do not accept bookings for stays of more than 55 nights and have a condition that after 55 nights guests must depart the property for a period of 14 days prior to being able to return.

Please note guests can spend a maximum of 180 nights at West Beach Parks over the course of the financial year.
