Spring has arrived, the days are getting longer and West Beach Parks is ready for the warmer months ahead.
Over winter, our teams have been busy painting, planting, refreshing and preparing our accommodation and facilities for spring and summer. From new family-friendly spaces at the Holiday Park to exciting additions at The Pat GC, there’s plenty to see, do and enjoy on your next visit.

More ways for families to make a splash
Our new toddler pool at the Holiday Park has received some fantastic feedback from families, and we’ve now refreshed the splash park right next door.
The zero-depth splash park includes a new, softer floor for safer landings, along with new splash features for younger guests to explore. It sits alongside Sonny’s Splash Park, our fully shaded toddler pool featuring a beach-style entry and water heated to 28°C.
Together, they create a fun and welcoming water play area that’s perfect for our smallest guests and their families.
We’ve been busy getting summer-ready
While our guests were rugged up over winter, our teams were working behind the scenes across the Holiday Park and The Retreat.
At the Holiday Park, amenity block one has been completely renovated, while cabins have been painted, gardens and landscaping refreshed, and spaces throughout the park given some extra care and attention.
We’ve also created a new picnic and gathering area, giving guests another relaxed space to spend time with family and friends. The area will also provide a welcoming setting for summer activities and events.
A new place to eat, drink and unwind
The spring news doesn’t stop at our gates.
Just a short walk from the Holiday Park and The Retreat, The Pat GC Bar & Eatery is opening as a new place for guests, golfers, locals and visitors to come together.
Whether you’re after a casual meal following a day at the beach, a drink with friends or somewhere to relax after a round of golf, it gives our guests another great option to enjoy without needing to jump in the car.
Award-winning golf and something new to play
There’s even more to celebrate at The Pat GC, which has been recognised by Golf Australia as Australia’s most outstanding metropolitan golf club, facility or place to play.
Located only a few minutes’ walk from our accommodation, The Pat GC offers experiences for golfers of all abilities, including the championship Patawalonga Course and TrackMan-equipped Driving Range.
The Short Course is also becoming the Short 18, a full 18-hole Par 3 course featuring shorter holes for a faster and more approachable round. Golfers will still be able to play for a handicap, making it a great option for experienced players and those newer to the game.
