West Beach Parks Cleanliness Statement and Action Plan

Here at West Beach Parks, the safety, comfort and enjoyment of our guests and team is our priority.

Every day, we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our precinct to ensure a safe and stress free experience for all who stay, work and play with us.

Here at West Beach Parks we adhere to and enforce SA Government restrictions across the precinct and continue to implement strict and robust cleaning protocols in addition to our already thorough processes.

Public spaces:
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in all our public areas, including our camp kitchen, communal bathrooms, pool area and reception areas. You’ll also find hand sanitisers throughout the site and we have strict social distancing requirements throughout the precinct.

Guest Accommodation:
In addition to our already rigorous cleaning processes, additional disinfecting processes have been implemented in our guest accommodation. Every cabin, eco-tent, shack and bathroom is cleansed after guests depart and before new guests arrive. All areas are thoroughly cleaned with increased attention to hard to get to and high touch surfaces.

Behind the scenes:
We’ve also made changes in our back of house areas. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting with a focus on high touch areas including entrances, locker rooms, linen rooms, bathrooms and offices and of course food preparation areas. All our staff have received additional training on all cleaning procedures and personal hygiene requirements.

FAQs…what you need to know

What do you do when there is a positive COVID-19 case at West Beach Parks?

At West Beach Parks the health and wellbeing of all those who stay and work with is paramount.

Increasing community transmission of COVID-19 means that West Beach Parks, like accommodation providers around the country, continues to see an escalation in the number of guests testing positive for COVID-19.

The open air and self-contained nature of our accommodation means exposure within our precinct is relatively low risk.

As such, unless explicitly directed by SA Health, we will no longer contact those who were onsite at the time of the exposure.

We instead ask all onsite to take a sensible approach and adhere to the social distancing requirements, respect capacity limits, follow hygiene protocols onsite and, as directed by SA Health, monitor for symptoms and test as necessary.

We, in turn, will continue our commitment to our COVIDSafe management plan, which includes rigorous hygiene and cleaning protocols and processes.
