At West Beach Parks we take pride in rewarding and recognising the dedication and achievement of our people. We encourage our leaders to honour accomplishments of individuals and teams with formal rewards and recognise achievements through monthly newsletters and communication channels. We ensure everyone at West Beach Parks has an opportunity to shine.
Nothing is more pleasing than to see peer-to-peer recognition of achievements and performance. Our annual recognition program provides our staff the opportunity to nominate their fellow team members in a number of categories, with the winners receiving a gift for their efforts.
We appreciate the dedication and loyalty of our employees, and for those who have been part of our business for an extended period, events and gifts are used to recognise key service milestones such as 10 and 20 years of employment.
Our team drives our success and we love to celebrate throughout the year with staff celebrations to recognise and thank our staff for their dedication and contributions by hosting quarterly barbecue lunches or breakfasts. We also enjoy celebrating festivities with our team with yearly visits by the Easter Bunny and Father Christmas.
I started working at West Beach Parks on a short term contract in 2012. During my first week it was clear to me that West Beach Parks was not just a job but a career path I wanted. West Beach Parks have provided the tools, training and support along with opportunities which have allowed me grow, I'm now the maintenance coordinator and I can honestly say that I enjoy my job. I get to work with great people every day we support one another and because of this working environment I believe we give our visitors to West Beach Parks a great experience.
